Personal presentation

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! I'm Joaquín Pérez Toscano, I'm 20 years old, I'm from Málaga and I'm studying a Double Degree in Primary Education and English Studies in the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Málaga. I have previously studied at the Virgen Inmaculada Santa María de la Victoria centre, better known as Gamarra, in the ‘Nueva Málaga’ neighbourhood. As for my personal tastes, I love sports of all kinds, watching and practising them, especially football. Besides, I also love spending time with my friends and video games, travelling and languages. I decided to study the double degree in Primary Education and English Studies because, since I was about 10 years old, I have been very interested in teaching, thanks also to the fact that during this stage I had amazing teachers who inspired me, I also like learning and working with children, as well as languages, so this double degree is a unique opportunity to combine both. I have good expectations for this subject, because since I was a child I have always liked geometry and its formulas, even though I found them complicated, especially in the last years of secondary school. Therefore I would like to learn the best way to teach my future students how wonderful geometry can be and for this reason in this blog we are going to deal with different aspects related to geometry, as a lot of resources and effective strategies that we can use for better teaching.
